Successful realisation of monthly workshops, in connection with the piano and chamber music series of the city of Kirchheimbolanden, presenting up-and-coming artists in the field of classical music. They play their concert programme for the pupils, explain it and talk about their career, education and profession. All music teachers of the Realschule Kirchheimbolanden take part in the musical support project with their classes. According to the teachers, being able to offer their students contact with living music and living musicians is an essential and valuable part of the project, since there are an above-average number of students in their classes who do not have access to real concert experiences .
This project for cultural education and integration, supported by the Schöck-Familien-Stiftung, wants to help counteract the disadvantages of children and young people and strengthen their social participation in this time of the pandemic, which has exacerbated an economic recession and an education crisis . The music workshops are supplemented by offers for homework support, reading and writing courses for refugee children and their mothers.

At the same time, the planned workshops support the branch of young female concert musicians by enabling concrete concert engagements and playing in front of lively audiences. Furthermore, the workshops offer the valuable opportunity to come into contact with very different children and young people and to gain experience of the complexity of our social reality. The project thus contains a variety of synergy effects for all those involved.
