In recognition of special services, Federal President Frank-Walter Steinmeier has already awarded the Federal Cross of Merit on Ribbon to Karsten Malige, the founder and chairman of the association SyrienHilfe e.V., on 08 February 2022. On the 21th of June 2023, the Minister for Food, Rural Areas and Consumer Protection, Mr. Peter Hauk, officially handed over the certificate in Muggensturm.
Karsten Malige thanks us with the words:
