Support for the charity of the Catholic priest Father Gabriel Mathias in Tamil Nadu.
He runs kindergartens, schools and an infirmary there and offers training and further education programs for young people and adults.
The facilities and the associated help on site are offered to all people, regardless of their religious affiliation or caste.
A team of bus drivers brings the children from 20 remote villages to the St. Xaviers School in Salai with 6 school buses every day. More than 600 children are taught there, mostly from very poor families.
The Schöck-Familien-Stiftung has supported the project since 2013 by financing the transfer costs and buying two school buses.
