Construction and operation of mother-child homes in India, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Uganda
We welcome long-term concepts for holistic and sustainable support for girls and women with their children who find themselves in a difficult situation (e.g. due to social disadvantage or domestic violence).
The shelters could be a low-threshold first point of contact and, apart from legal advice and medical care, provide both temporary and longer-term places for them and their children, as well as educational or training opportunities.
After the end of the project, integration into local structures should be as good as possible.
