Social entrepreneurial engagement is not only an effective incubator and transformer for effective success in the fight against poverty, but also meets the contemporary demands of socially just development. The project focuses on the Ugandan umbrella organization LATEK and its member organizations (including those active in social entrepreneurship). It offers targeted capacity building through central on-site training in Kampala for employees of the association’s head office and member organizations. This leads to an improvement in the quality, effectiveness and sustainability of projects and measures to overcome poverty. Capacity building includes practical skills, theoretical and strategic competencies as well as the optimization of structures and processes and promotes entrepreneurial thinking and action. The strategic networking of partnerships leads to greater reach, mutual learning and strategic cooperation.
