After a long lockdown in the country, the day care center for children and young people with disabilities was successfully opened on March 8, 2022. Renovated in Thilakapura, Galle, Ambalangoda, the center with a modern therapy department is designed for the development and socialization of children with physical and/or mental disabilities who are excluded from society.
The project, supported by the Schöck-Familien-Stiftung, is managed by Friends Children’s Aid International Germany and its partner organization Friends Lanka Child Foundation in cooperation with the local district secretariat.
