In the countryside near Tiruvannamalai in southern India, the Freundeskreis Indien eV maintains training sponsorships and the professional training program. This program supports needy, motivated and talented school leavers from the Sri Ramana Maharshi School and enables them to do vocational training or study. Since vocational training is often not available locally but only in cities further away, this funding program is very costly. Our commitment is greatly appreciated by the young people. The students know exactly what a privileged situation they are in.
